Three simple methods you can do with common household items. For best results, try at least two methods and compare.
Small details make a big difference. Follow these expert tips from our jewelers to get the most accurate ring size.
Fingers are at their largest in the late afternoon and evening. Avoid measuring first thing in the morning when fingers tend to be slimmer.
Measure your finger 3 to 4 times on different days for the most consistent result. Your finger size can vary day to day.
If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both. Choose a size that slides over the knuckle comfortably but fits snugly at the base.
Wider bands (over 6mm) fit more tightly than narrow bands. If you are choosing a wide band, go up half a size for a comfortable fit.
Cold weather causes fingers to shrink, while heat makes them swell. Measure at room temperature for the most accurate result.
If you are between two sizes, always choose the larger size. A ring can be resized down more easily than it can be sized up.
Print at 100% scale (Actual Size). Do not use "Fit to Page."
Cut out the strip below, wrap around your finger, and read your size where the strip overlaps.
